What this job involvesThis position will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency while driving financial performance and operational excellence. Supervising organizing and training warehouse employees and establishing monitoring and managing operational goals and financial targets. This role requires strong financial acumen including P&L management contract negotiation and margin optimization. Excellent attention to detail problem-solving skills and leadership qualities are a must. Having the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of teams and client stakeholders.What is your day to dayAbility to lead and manage team membersClient relationship management with contract stakeholders and client business unitsFinancial performance monitoring and P&L managementSupport with and where appropriate handling of contract negotiations Margin optimizationDevelop and deliver comprehensive financial reporting to support operational decision-makingAdhere to account KPIsProblem solving and organizational SkillsTeam player and motivatorContract management complianceAllegiance to the company and its team membersSupervise daily warehouse activities including quality assurance inventory control space management logistics floor productivity shipping and customer serviceDevelops implements and maintains warehouse proceduresResponsible for planning activities related to the warehouse material control inventory control and auditDevelop and propose plans to improve controlsCoordinate with management and employees to resolve materials related issuesResolve any arising problems or complaintsCoordinate full order cycleSupervise motivate train warehouse and client workflowRecruit and train talentLogistics ManagementCoordination of domestic and international shipmentsValidating shipments to shipment documentation for 100% accuracy of shipmentAnalyze data for accuracyWarehouse Operations ManagementManaging OPEX Expenses and InvoicingPrepare and analyze monthly financial reports including cost analysis margin reports and budget variance analysisManaging warehouse daily schedules including opening and closingOversee annual facility operations; coordinating with landlord and third party vendorsAccurate time record keeping and monthly billingInventory ManagementFinancial impact analysis of inventory management decisionsData Analysis and Financial ReportingMaintaining accurate inventory records with 98% accuracyFinancial Management & ReportingDevelop implement and maintain financial reporting frameworks to optimize operational performanceAnalyze financial data to identify cost reduction opportunities and margin improvement initiativesPrepare comprehensive P&L analysis and present findings to senior managementNegotiate contracts with vendors suppliers and service providers to maximize profitabilityMonitor and report on key financial metrics including cost per unit margin analysis and budget performanceDesired experience and technical skillsRequired:Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Supply Chain Management or related field3 years proven work experience in operations management with demonstrated financial responsibilityStrong understanding of P&L management margin analysis and financial reportingProven experience in contract negotiation and vendor managementAdvanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting toolsProficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel skills required) SAP and other applicationsExceptional communication skills; both verbal and written and interpersonal abilitiesCan multi-task on many projects and meet deadlinesStrong organizational planning and scheduling skillsPreferred:MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Operations ManagementProfessional certification in supply chain or operations management (e.g. APICS CSCMP)Trade show logistics experienceForklift certifiedStand and move for longer periods of time and lift heavy materials (up to 40 lbs.)Estimated compensation for this position:143000..00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
