Job Description SummaryThe Encompass Site Health Tech is an on-site role responsible for keeping the overall RTLS hardware infrastructure online and reporting any unresolved discrepancies to the off-site support team. Thats because we never lose sight of what healthcare really needsthe human touch.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesManage the RTLS Encompass infrastructure at all sites included in the regionMonitor Encompass hardware performance to ensure system is functioning as intendedPerform remediation activities on all offline devices replacing those as neededGather move-add-change (MAC) requirements and install as requestedOrder and configure new hardware as neededSupervise all third-party vendor Encompass-related activitiesReport Encompass site health metrics to our internal client representativesLead projects from inception to completion using standard project management skillsAssist in equipment tagging efforts as neededProvide on-goingend user Encompass trainingCommunicate new functionality to end usersPerform remediation activities on all offline devices replacing those as neededAssist with standardization of Label Nomenclature and Coverage IssuesEscalate issues with Support teamPerform basic QGIS tracing of floorplansQualifications/RequirementsAssociates degree OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience in a hospital settingDemonstrated understanding of medical equipment movement within a clinical care settingAbility to obtain unrestricted Hospital Vendor CredentialingProven customer interaction skills and customer focusDemonstrate an understanding of Wi-Fi fundamentalsAbility to work independentlyClearly communicate and interface with Biomedical Technicians Customers and Internal GE stakeholders.Desired CharacteristicsSupport experience with real-time locating systems (RTLS)Experience working in hospital environmentFamiliar with hospital departments medical equipment and its usesUnderstanding of standard hospital policies and processesWe expect all employees to live and breathe our behaviors: to act with humility and build trust; lead with transparency; deliver with focus and drive ownership always with unyielding integrity.Our total rewards are designed to unlock your ambition by giving you the boost and flexibility you need to turn your ideas into world-changing realities.
