PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities, and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning, and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.Who We Look ForAs a Product Manager on the AI vertical, you will be responsible for building and expanding the suite of AI tools available across Wealth Management. You will join a team of creative and driven product managers to help build, launch, and scale AI-powered solutions that meaningfully enhance the client and advisor relationship. You are passionate about intuitive, user-centric products and enhancing the client and advisor experience. You are comfortable writing requirements, managing project execution, and performing testing for the features you bring to market. You are energized by innovation, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, and motivated by the opportunity to harness AI to improve productivity, elevate client service, and deliver differentiated capabilities at scale.How You Will Fulfill Your PotentialDemonstrate a strong understanding of the PWM business goals, processes, and players, and collaborate closely with them to drive GS AI – Wealth product requirements and success Develop and drive GS AI – Wealth product strategy with our team and partners Leverage analytics/data and end users’ feedback to inform the GS AI – Wealth product roadmapExecute on the GS AI – Wealth product roadmap by writing user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for engineering developmentPartner with colleagues in Engineering, Design, Operations, and Program Management to deliver user-centric features Solicit stakeholder input and coordinate amongst multiple groups to inform requirements, including Business, Legal, and ComplianceBreak down large, complex product initiatives into manageable components while maintaining a clear understanding of dependenciesTranslate ambiguous or complex problem statements into clear and actionable next steps for impacted groupsMonitor end-user feedback, competitive best practices and emerging AI trends, proactively identifying opportunities and developing solutionsEngage with partner vendors to ensure they address product needsDrive prioritization by assessing feature feasibility, building business cases, and aligning stakeholders on product requirements and sequencingContinuously experiment and learn — testing new AI models, prompting strategies, and workflows QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required7+ years of work experience in product management and/or the financial services sector (ideally in Wealth Management) Prior experience managing, building, launching, or scaling complex AI platforms or AI-powered toolsProduct management experience in an agile product development environmentHigh technical comfort with AI tools, structured workflows, testing models, and/or prompt designDeep interest in AI and digital transformationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead calls, run training sessions, and tailor messaging to diverse audiencesStrong stakeholder management across diverse groups Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize differing requirements Strong attention to detail; strong logical and analytical thinkerHigh degree of personal accountability and teamwork, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time and to a high standard of qualityAptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and processes, documenting workflows and edge cases, and communicating solutions with clarityCommitment to excellence and a high level of integrityProactive attitude and willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects, identifying potential risks and issues, and proposing solutionsAdaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Ability to balance quality work while meeting short deadlines Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $160000-$270000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.Benefits
