Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:We are looking to expand our team by adding an energetic and dedicated full-time Assistant Pool Manager. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong commitment to working as part of a team.Please review the following job duties:People Management: Assist in the supervision and delegation of tasks for a team of 30-40 staff members. Adress questions and concerns appropriately and assist with management matters as needed / directed by the upper management team.Ensure Safety: Maintain constant surveillance of the pool area and participants to prevent accidents and injuries, always prioritizing patron safety.Enforce Pool Rules: Observe and enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by responding to member inquiries, addressing concerns, and assisting with any needs that arise during pool use.Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, restrooms, and surrounding areas. Ensure the filtration system is functioning properly, and that pool chemistry is up to standard.Emergency Response: Respond quickly to all emergency situations, utilizing Red Cross Lifeguard training to administer first aid, CPR, and other emergency procedures.Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and inspect pool equipment to ensure it is safe, clean, and operational.Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other lifeguards and staff members to ensure efficient pool operations and a positive member experience.Facility Opening/Closing: Perform opening and closing duties for the facility, including necessary cleaning and preparation for operation.Other Duties: Complete other tasks as assigned by the Pool Manager or Assistant Pool ManagerRequirements:Lifeguard Certification: Current Lifeguard and First Aid/AED certification required. (Please upload your current Lifeguard Certification.)Customer Service Skills: Proven history of excellent customer service and effective communication.Physical Requirements: Ability to stay alert for extended periods, swim, and perform lifesaving techniques when necessary.Work Environment: Ability to work in outdoor conditions with exposure to various weather elements.Punctuality and Responsibility: Must be dependable, punctual, and able to multitask in a challenging environment. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and major summer holidays. Pool Operator Certificate: Having a Pool Operator Certificate is a requirement for this role.
