    • Posted 03 Sep 2025PositionAssistant/Associate Professor of AccountingJob Description & QualificationThe University of Chicago Booth School of Business is seeking to appoint outstanding scholars to tenure-track positions in Accounting beginning in the 2026-27 academic year.We invite applications from those who hold a PhD (or equivalent) in the relevant field(s) or expect to complete the requirements for a PhD in accounting by July 1, 2026 or soon thereafter. (We require all tenure track faculty to have a PhD or equivalent. We will appoint those whose degree requirements have not been satisfied by this date as instructors, the expectation being that all PhD requirements will be satisfied soon thereafter, at which time you will be appointed as an assistant professor.)Applicants should be interested in contributing to a program that welcomes, respects, and supports a diverse community of scholars.
