This position is a Store Manager developmental role. Midas is committed to training our associates and promoting them from within the organization.ResponsibilitiesAs a SpeeDee Automotive Assistant Store Manager, you will manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operation of the shop, including:Deliver exceptional customer service while listening to and consulting customersFollowing up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times, etc.Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendationsbuilding computerized repair orders and sourcing partsDeliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promote shop service specialsLead, manage, and train team while keeping in tune with our companys vision, purpose, core values, and employee creedSupervise up to ten employeesOversee technicians inspections, diagnosing, and repairing of domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucksMaintain inventory countsOverall cleanliness and organization of the facilityOther duties as assignedQualificationsGeneral automotive knowledgeExcellent customer service dispositionGood communication skillsLeadership abilityTeam building skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidaysValid drivers license
