Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:An ABC provides one-to-one behavioral health interventions to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-21 years old who are diagnosed with a qualifying disability, typically autism spectrum disorder.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides face-to-face behavioral interventions and implements Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP).Provides support to parents, teachers, and community individuals as described in ITP.Delivers and models treatment interventions and consequences for inappropriate actions as agreed upon.Provides positive reinforcement to the clients and families.Communicates with peers and co-workers and exchanges information which is important in achieving the individual goals for the clients.Adheres to professional boundaries with all clients and families.Provides culturally aware and competent service provision.Completes 20+ hours of training per company requirements and guidelines and state regulatory standards.Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with little notice dependent on client needs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.TRAVELThis position requires travel up to 30% of the time with clients being no more than 1 hour from staff’s home, unless specifically agreed upon.
