DescriptionThe Branch Assistant Manager works with the Branch Manager to organize plan and implement strategies in a Sherwin-Williams Automotive Branch. This includes supporting all aspects of branch operations including customer service sales marketing merchandising inventory finances and store safety. This role will assist in supervising and training store staff.The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Automotive Branch #9344 located at 329 Market Place Fairview Heights IL 62208.This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm based on business needs and subject to change.This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Companys applicable plans.This position is eligible for health benefits such as medical dental and vision coverage Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) disability coverage secruity retirement and saving benefits. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys customers staff employees vendors contractors and the general public.ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and implementing branch market plan based on market conditions branch mission and financial/budget objectivesSupport business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitabilityBuild and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendationsEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent serviceVerify customer orders and transactions are completed and documented accuratelyMaintain branch inventory levelsEnsure compliance with policies and procedures including safety loss prevention and securitySupport employee training development performance management and corrective actionRespond to and resolve any customer and/or employee complaintsAssist in determining staffing needs and develop work schedulesAnalyze management and financial reports including financial ratios relative to Profit & Loss (P&L)Assist with daily bank depositsQualificationsMinimum RequirementsMust be at least eighteen 18 years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have a valid unrestricted Drivers LicenseMust be able with or without reasonable accommodation to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasionMust have at least one (1) year of work experience in retail sales or customer service or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development ProgramPreferred QualificationsHave at least three (3) years of work experience in customer service retail or salesHave at least one (1) year of work experience in a Sherwin-Williams Automotive BranchHave at least one (1) year of work experience in an automotive aftermarket industryHave at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s) supervising others or leading teamsHave at least one (1) year of work experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word Excel Power Point Teams and/or Outlook)Have work experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systemsHave an associate degree or higher in Business Sales or MarketingWillingness to relocate for future job opportunities#SHWSalesRequired Experience:Manager Key Skills Administrative Skills,Time Management,Listening Skill,Leadership skills,Organizational Skill,Accounting & Finance,Business Process Skills,Communication,Relationship Management,Strategic Thinking Skills,Team Player Spirit,Budgeting Skills,Marketing Skills,Management Skill,Problem Solving Skills Employment Type : Hourly Experience: years Vacancy: 1
