Assistant Clinical Director / Clinical Director Durham NCFull-Time On-Site $100000$160000 per year (based on experience incentives)Autism Center of Excellence is expanding leadership capacity within our Durham clinic and seeking an Assistant Clinical Director or Clinical Director depending on experience. This is a high-impact role overseeing treatment quality clinical team development and family support.Position SummaryLocation: Durham NCSetting: 100% in-clinicSchedule: MondayFridayEmployment Type: Full-Time ExemptCompensation:Assistant Clinical Director: $100000$120000Clinical Director: $140000$160000(Includes base pay performance incentives)Key ResponsibilitiesAssistant Clinical Director ResponsibilitiesSupport clinical oversight across the Durham clinicCoach mentor and supervise BCBAs BCaBAs and RBTsAssist with onboarding and professional developmentParticipate in scheduling operational coordination and workflow decisionsProvide clinical support and guidance during escalationsContribute to quality assurance and compliance effortsClinical Director ResponsibilitiesLead clinic-wide clinical quality integrity and complianceServe as the primary escalation point for clinical decisionsOversee assessments treatment planning and documentation standardsLead case reviews team meetings and professional developmentCollaborate with leadership on staffing scheduling and expansion planningMaintain a reduced billable requirement (15 hrs/week) to support leadershipQualificationsRequired (for both levels):Active BCBA certificationMasters degree in ABA Psychology Education or related fieldEligible for or holding NC LBAStrong leadership presence and communication skillsExperience Guidance:Assistant Clinical Director: 3 years BCBA experience supervisory experience preferredClinical Director: 45 years BCBA experience prior leadership requiredBenefitsMedical dental and vision insurance (30 hrs/week)Company-paid life insurancePTO and paid holidays401(k) with employer contributionCEU support and leadership developmentDedicated administrative and clinical support teamsWhy Leadership at AutismCOEYoull work in a deeply supportive environment that values high clinical standards organized systems strong family communication and team development.Apply TodayWe are reviewing candidates for both Assistant Clinical Director and Clinical Director roles.Required Skills:Required Skills Clinical Skills Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based treatment Ability to conduct assessments (e.g. FBAs VB-MAPP AFLS etc.) Skill in developing treatment plans and supervising implementation Ability to analyze data and adjust programming accordingly High level of professional and ethical decision-making Leadership & Supervision Skills Experience supervising BCBAs BCaBAs RBTs and Behavior Technicians Ability to coach mentor and develop staff Comfortable leading clinical meetings and case reviews Strong organizational and delegation abilities Interpersonal & Communication Skills Clear and professional verbal and written communication Ability to collaborate with caregivers staff and leadership Positive supportive approach to staff training and feedback Strong relationship-building and family-support abilities Operational & Administrative Skills Ability to maintain accurate documentation Strong time-management skills with ability to balance billable and non-billable tasks Comfortable supporting scheduling workflow decisions and quality checks Physical/Behavioral Skills Ability to meet the physical requirements of clinic-based ABA (active engagement kneeling lifting up to 50 lbs as needed) Emotional regulation patience and adaptability when supporting challenging behaviorsRequired Education:Educational Qualifications (Required)Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Education or a related fieldActive BCBA certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)Eligible for or holding Virginia licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)Ability to pass background and reference checksEducational Qualifications (Preferred)Additional coursework or training in supervision leadership or organizational behaviorCEUs related to clinical le Key Skills Fiscal Management,Organizational skills,Fundraising,Communication skills,Management Experience,Teaching,Administrative Experience,Budgeting,Leadership Experience,Program Development,Supervising Experience,Attention to detail Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Yearly Salary Salary: 100000 - 160000
