Are you ready to inspire champions? If yes, then this may be the right opportunity for you! We are currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach, Womenâs Tennis. This position will assist the Head Coach of the Womenâs Tennis program of a Division I athletics program. Responsibilities include assisting with administration of recruiting, training, practice, fundraising, budget management, and team travel. This is a one-year fixed term position. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Help plan and organize team training and practice sessions. Organizing and ordering equipment and clothing. Organize books and travel to individual tournaments. Assists with recruiting student-athletes to compete at Stanford. Follow NCAA guidelines and University standards and policies in coordinating recruiting efforts. Understand and apply NCAA regulations to all aspects of the program. Must pass exam on an annual basis on NCAA regulations. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Qualifications: Bachelorâs degree required. A minimum of three years of coaching experience or a combination of education and experience. Previous Division I level competition is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with student-athletes, peers, and the general public. Computer literacy with common office applications such as Word and Excel required. Ability to understand and comply with all rules and regulations of Stanford University, ACC Conference, and NCAA. Ability to work compatibly and cooperatively with a variety of staff and personnel in the Department of Athletics, the University and the community. DAPERâs Integrity:This position, along with all DAPER coaches and staff, is responsible for the integrity of Stanfordâs intercollegiate athletics program and for the reputation of Stanford University. This position is responsible for ensuring that his/her/their involvement with Athletics Department activities maintains the integrity of the Universityâs reputation and does not negatively impact the relationship between the University and its faculty, staff, students and alumni. The expected pay salary for this position is $70,500 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
