DescriptionThe Assistant Director of Compliance assists the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance in all aspects of NCAA compliance operations.ResponsibilitiesAssist Associate Athletic Director for Compliance with the institutions NCAA compliance operations with emphasis in the following areas:Updating and monitoring student-athlete information in NCAA Eligibility Center NCAA Compliance Assistant ARMS and BannerSupervision of National Letter of Intent programAnnual coaches recruiting test/certificationsRecruiting processes and forms including NCAA transfer clearinghouse verification of transfer academic year in residence campus visits (official and unofficial)Assistance at Player Pass Gate for home football gamesMonitor initial eligibility and amateurism certification of incoming student-athletes with NCAA Eligibility Center including:Send Head Coaches or designee weekly progress reportsCommunicate with coaches and/or incoming student-athletes any issues with initial eligibility and/or amateurismEnhance Compliance Education with the following constituents:Athletics Personnel (coaches athletics staff student-athletes managers directors of operations and volunteersRecords Financial Aid & Admissions compliance liaisonsBoosters/FansThe ideal candidate will possess the following:Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulationsKnowledge of NCAA Compliance Assistant and LSDBIKnowledge of ARMS Compliance softwareKnowledge of BannerKnowledge of Southern Conference rules regulations policies and proceduresFamiliarity with commercial compliance tracking softwareMust possess strong communications skills both oral and writtenAbility to maintain positive relationships constituencies and provide excellent customer serviceAbility to work under pressure multi-task and meet deadlinesThe review of applications will begin July 21 2025and will continue until the position is filled.QualificationsMinimum: Requires a bachelors degree and 1-3 years of NCAA compliance experience within the previous five years (internships experience included).Preferred: A masters or JD degree and NCAA compliance experience at a NCAA Division I institution or conference level is preferred.Required Experience:Director Key Skills Crisis Management,Marketing,Public Relations,Fundraising,Media Relations,Constant Contact,Strategic Planning,Social Media Management,Team Management,Public Speaking,Wordpress,Writing Skills Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
