We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Lotus Village Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, a resident-centered and quality-focused skilled nursing facility. As a key leader on our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care for our residents and patients.

Position Overview:

The Assistant Director of Nursing will manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department, supporting the overall operation of the facility. You will assure adherence to company policies, standards of nursing practices, and government regulations to promote excellent care and compassion for our residents and patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet the nursing medical needs of all residents

  • Coordinate infection control

  • Educate staff on nursing practices

  • Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff

  • 24 hours on call

  • Coordinate and direct the total planning for nursing services

  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records

  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting of new nursing staff

  • Oversee daily staffing process

  • Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse in good standing with required current state license

  • Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience

  • One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred

  • Must have a current/active CPR certification

  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment
