Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN or LPN | Memory Care Leadership

McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical leadership team as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This position provides direct oversight of our dedicated Memory Care Unit, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for residents living with Alzheimer's and dementia.

You will support overall nursing operations while taking a lead role in staff management, mentoring staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance within our Memory Care program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical care and staff performance within the Memory Care program.

• Supervise, train, and support RNs, LPNs, CMTs, and CNAs on the nursing team.

• Coordinate and monitor resident care plans in alignment with regulatory standards.

• Foster collaboration between departments and communicate with families.

• Promote safety, consistency, and quality care outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license in Missouri (required).

• 2+ years of nursing leadership experience (3+ preferred).

• Strong knowledge of memory care best practices.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical assessment skills.
