JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Type: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Creekwood Nursing & Rehabilitation is a 104 bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Russellville, a small community located in Western Kentucky known for its treasure trove of shops and good eats. We are currently seeking an RN for our Assistant Director of Nursing position!

ADON DUTIES:
Meet the nursing medical needs of all residents
Responsible for coordinating infection control
Responsible for educating the staff
Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
24 hours on call
Coordinate and direct the total planning for nursing services
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records
Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff
Oversee daily staffing process
Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs
ADON REQUIREMENTS:
Active RN license required
Long-Term Care experience required
Management experience preferred
Staff education experience preferred
Excellent Communication Skills required
Flexible hours required
