Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee aspects of the nursing department, including staff management and patient care
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment
Requirements:
Strong Leadership and Supervisory Skills
Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with previous DON or ADON experience.
Rehabilitation Focus, Wound Care Experience, Knowledge of Medicare A & B, Willing To Work With Behavior Management Residents
Enjoy working with the Elderly, MDS/Care Plans, Willing to work 2 Weeks a Month, Previous CNA/CMT instructor certification and have excellent regulatory compliance record and commitments to TQM (Total Quality Management)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
