Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and programs
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting
Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects
Mentor and coach staff members to achieve professional growth and development
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
