Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and programs

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
