At Sunrise Skilled Nursing & Rehab, we're looking for a compassionate and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team! In this role, you will assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring the highest level of resident care within our skilled nursing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN or LPN looking to grow into nursing leadership within a supportive long-term care environment.

Your Role

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and nursing department oversight

• Support and mentor nursing staff to maintain exceptional resident care standards

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations

• Assist with onboarding, training, and development of nursing staff

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate resident care

• Assist with care planning, quality assurance, and risk management programs

• Conduct daily rounds to monitor workflow, resident care, and staff performance

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff members

• Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of resident information

• Perform additional duties as assigned by facility leadership

Who We’re Looking For

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Dependable and professional with reliable attendance

• Passionate about long-term care and supporting nursing staff development

• Motivated to grow professionally within healthcare leadership
