What You’ll Do
Collaborate with facility leadership and the Medical Director to develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention goals and action plans
Identify and monitor infection risks, including transmission methods, incubation periods, and symptoms
Ensure a facility-wide infection prevention and surveillance system for residents, staff, and visitors
Assist with outbreak investigations and guide mitigation efforts to stop the spread of infection
Support required reporting to local, state, and national agencies
Foster strong interdisciplinary relationships and build consensus across teams
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
What You Bring
Current RN or LPN license
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a long-term care environment
Infection Prevention CDC Certification (completed or willing to complete)
Working knowledge of state rules and regulations
Passion for improving the lives of residents
Positive, can-do attitude with excellent attendance and reliability
