This position plays a key role in walking homes, reviewing plans, coordinating with framing contractors and architectural teams, and helping maintain clean, professional, and compliant job sites. Job Details:

As a Consulting Assistant Framing Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring that the framing contractor is working with the most current, approved plan. You will be responsible for coordinating with the Architectural department, reviewing plans for potential discrepancies, and addressing issues promptly. Your role will also involve maintaining a list of necessary corrections and distributing potential solutions in writing to the site superintendent, director of operations, and site framing contractor.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the framing contractor has the most current, approved plan
  • Coordinate with the Architectural department to ensure they have the most current approved plans
  • Review all plans for potential framing discrepancies and address them promptly
  • Maintain a list of all necessary corrections and review the list with the site superintendent and/or Director of Operations
  • Provide written solutions to any issues to the site superintendent, director of operations, and site framing contractor
  • Conduct preconstruction meetings with the Framing Contractor, Architectural Department Director, and Site Superintendent
  • Monitor all aspects of framed homes and construction of homes
  • Enforce all job site rules set forth
  • Act as the Superintendent when the Superintendent is not on site
  • Familiarize yourself with all rules and guidelines set by local governing agencies
  • Stay up-to-date with City Policies and Inspection Procedures
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of framing scope of work

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of framing scope of work
  • Proven experience in coordinating with various departments and contractors
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues promptly
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to enforce job site rules and regulations
  • Familiarity with local governing agency rules and guidelines
  • Knowledge of City Policies and Inspection Procedures
  • Ability to act as the Superintendent when required
  • Proven ability to monitor all aspects of framed homes and construction of homes
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to maintain a list of necessary corrections
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate preconstruction meetings.
