Our commitment to excellence extends to every aspect of our operations, and we're currently seeking passionate, highly motivated, experienced professionals to join our front of house management team.POSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in all operational aspects of the business by managing staff and the daily operation.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESManage, lead and mentor floor Managers and StaffEnsure service is maintained at the utmost of quality levelsDevelop risk management and mitigation strategiesRepresent the GM in investigating, answering, and settling grievances in absence of General ManagerMaintain all corporate mandates update and track daily reportsAnalyze staffing requirements, develop iteration plans, and assess opportunities for future growthAssist general manager with recruitment effortsCoach and train management staffResponsible for Team performance – morale, productivity, fiscal responsibilityMonitor activities and expensesAssist in setting and monitoring sales forecasts and profitability reportsKeep General Manager informed of sales and key issuesIncreasing sales through marketing, networking and incentives for staff to raise guest check average.Assists in maintaining budgeted revenues, cost of sales (COS), labor, supplies and operating cash flow (OCF)Reviews monthly profit and loss statements and acts on all variances.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 5 years of experience in an assistant general manager roleStrong influence, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and creative solution generation skillsGeneral business acumenExpert knowledge of POS systems (toast)Able to quickly integrate into a team and be recognized as a leaderAble to delegate effectively
