Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation and cooking of food to ensure quality standards are met and safety regulations are followed.Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ingredients, to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked without excess waste.Train new kitchen employees on proper food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen safety protocols.Monitor kitchen equipment functionality and cleanliness, arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed to prevent disruptions in service.Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to develop menu items, considering cost, availability of ingredients, and seasonal variations.Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including conducting regular kitchen inspections and audits.This is a full time, salary based position and requires late night hours until 1 am on weeknights and 3 am on weekends.By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
