Assistant Manager at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers

At Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers we are actively seeking top level hands-on management candidates with a desire to grow into key leadership roles. The Assistant Manager is responsible for inspecting and servicing vehicles in a quick and thorough manner for our customers creating a superior environment through friendliness and professionalism. This position will adhere to and promote the Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers mission while operating within the confines of our companys core values. All Assistant Managers will contribute to team success under the guidance and direction of the Store Manager.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Consistently creating results for customers teammates and the companyResponsible for ensuring the customers are greeted courteously and receive a high level of customer serviceComplete work accurately and quickly allowing customers to remain in their vehiclesPerform courtesies for every customer (cleaning the windshield lubricating door hinges)Perform multi-point inspectionInspect vehicles for additional repairs neededAdvise Service Consultant and/or VSI for additional mechanical service workInspect fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmissionInspect belts hoses and wiper bladesCheck air pressure of tiresMaintain a safe clean and organized work areaMust be able to perform all duties described in the SOS bookOversees and manages all store operations when the Store Manager is absentMust be able to do inventory and complete stock ordersMust be able to open and close the storeQualifications : We are looking for:High level of motivation with hands-on management skillsTop-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customersEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAutomotive experience helpful but not requiredAdditional Information : All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing stooping and bendingAt time exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objectsRequires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materialsBy completing this application you are agreeing that you are able to meet the physical requirements listed for this role. Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Restaurant Experience,Fashion Retail,Hospitality Experience,Assistant Manager Experience,Basic Math,Management Experience,Math,Business Management,Leadership Experience,Supervising Experience,Restaurant Management,Retail Management Experience: years Vacancy: 1
