Job DescriptionJob DescriptionManufacturing Process Engineer | $55k - $65k/year | 1st ShiftWhat Matters Most$55k - $65k/year based on experience and qualifications7:30am – 4:00pmLynchburg, OhioDirect Hire Opportunity with career growth and stabilityJob DescriptionAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing systems, processes, machines, and tools for the efficient production of SMT and PTH electronic assemblies. You’ll work closely with product design teams to drive improvements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance of manufacturing operations. This role is critical to continuous improvement and risk reduction on the production floor.ResponsibilitiesDesign manufacturing processes for new electronic assembly productsCollaborate with design team to provide DFM recommendations and prototype supportDrive efficiency and continuous improvement in production operationsAnalyze failures using statistical methods and recommend design or process changesProvide technical support to resolve manufacturing issuesTroubleshoot design, material, and process-related production problemsDevelop tooling and equipment to reduce manual processing of PTH leadsImprove material handling and inventory control through automation/equipmentMonitor processes and equipment for potential safety risksReport directly to the Manufacturing Engineering ManagerQualifications and RequirementsExperience with SMT and PTH equipment a MUST, including component prep, SPI, placement, reflow, AOI, and Wave/Selective SolderingStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsLean Manufacturing and 5S experience preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office and Global ShopExcellent communication skills and attention to detailBenefits and PerksCompetitive hourly wage based on experienceAccess to health, dental, and vision insuranceOpportunities for ongoing professional developmentYour Career Partner:The Reserves Network, a veteran-founded and family-owned company, specializes in connecting exceptional talent with rewarding opportunities.
