Assistant Mens Lacrosse Coach at Young Harris College

Job Description:Accepting applications for an Assistant Mens Lacrosse Coach. Under the direction of theHead Coach the Assistant Coach will aid in all aspects of organizing preparing andconducting individual and team practices and game preparation. Assist in the evaluation andrecruitment of qualified prospective student-athletes. Assist with logistics equipment andapparel inventory. Additional responsibilities include monitoring player development andsupporting the academic advising efforts of The Student Success Center. As an employee ofYoung Harris College it is necessary to represent the program at various institutional andcommunity events. Aid with the overall coordination and administration of the program.Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics. Collegiate playing experience is preferred. Knowledge of NCAADivision II rules is required. Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership andcommunication skills and demonstrate a commitment to student athlete welfare andathletics excellence in a rigorous academic environment.
