We are seeking a colleague to contribute to the colleges mission to educate veterinary professionals and advance knowledge to address the contemporary needs of society. This team member will: Provide content expertise in fundamentals of animal behavior and its veterinary clinical applications contribute to scholarly advancement of the science and incorporate this discipline in the curriculum. Assume various teaching roles when required to meet curricular demands and as assigned by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Provide support in the training of students in all levels of the DVM curriculum. Serve on college and university standing committees. This position reports to the Dean. Academic activities are supervised by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs; research activities are supervised by the Associate Dean for Research; clinical activities are supervised by the Associate Dean for Clinical Services; and professional activities are supervised by the Executive Associate Dean.Required QualificationsEDUCATION : A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine PhD or other advanced degree/experience in Animal Behavior is required. Diplomate status or eligibility for certification examination in Veterinary Behavior is desired.
