Our teachers help guide infants through toddler age children through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.ALL Applications will be considered with virtual interviews scheduled for teachers experienced in working in early childhood education, preschool, child care or daycare centers. Our leadership team looks forward to speaking with you!School location is 5885 New Abbey Ln, Castle Rock, CO 80108Benefits:Hourly compensation is based on credentials**$500 Signing Bonus after 90 days***Assistant Teacher $19.00 to $21.00, depending on experience and credentialsSet Schedule Monday- Friday8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pmClosed Weekends, Nights and HolidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)80 hours annuallyPaid Sick Leave up to 48 hours annuallyPaid holidays and paid week off for Winter Break (week of Christmas)Medical Plan - Kaiser Permanente- $150/month Employer ContributionGuardian Dental & Vision Benefit Plans401(k) Retirement with 100% match up to 4% salary contributionBonus OpportunitiesClassrooms come fully stocked with everything you need, and our supportive Leadership Team works every day to create a safe, healthy environment and a culture where all children and teachers can thrive.Qualifications:Assistant Teachers- PDIS 1 is requiredLead Teachers- PDIS 2, CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's degree requiredPrevious experience as a teacher in licensed early childhood education, PreK, preschool, childcare, day care center, or educationKnowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young childrenMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of childcare programs and child safetyMake a difference every day.Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.Help children learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more.Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning curriculum.Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.Responsibilities:Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom scheduleMaintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Castle Rock, and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.And if thats not enough, just wait until you help a child learn something new and see their face light up with excitement!!
