Assistant Plant Manager - ManufacturingUnitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth we are in search of a highly skilled Production/Manufacturing Managerfor our facility in Linden NJ.Schedule: 5 day work week SUNDAY - ThursdayStart time 5:30am - close (when all the jobs are completed).MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ADDITIONAL HOURS WHEN NEEDED.Compensation: The salary range for this position is $75000 to $85000 per year. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience seniority location and other permissible job-related factors.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Maintain individual and department performance at established standardsSupervise and direct a diverse task assortment across 4 Production Supervisors and an extensive team of plant employees: allocating relevant personnel for maximum efficiencyEnsure all processes meet internal Unitex policies and procedures by conducting consistent compliance checksImplement successful learning and development initiatives to enhance performance across the entire teamOversee health and safety operations across the plant including carrying out notable investigations when necessaryDevelop strong and productive relationships with customers across all levels of businessAnalyze operational processes and performance; implementing solutions for improvement as necessarySupply daily status reports issue reports highlight reports and progress reports to maintain senior expectationProvide consultation to the team concerning the introduction of new concepts with in company processesDeal with all arising issues in a prompt manner; ensuring all production and productivity goals are achievedAdminister various HR duties including payroll weekly scheduling employee relations absence and performance management issuesCheck quality and quantity of products to maintain a high level of customerJob Requirements:2 years managerial experience running a plant in a production/service environmentBi-lingual English/Spanish highly preferredDegree preferredComfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic work settingHigh degree of customer responsivenessUnderstands production work flowProven ability to manage to standardsFor consideration please send resume with salary requirements/history.Visit www/ to apply onlineUnitex301 Pleasant StreetLinden NJ07036EOE#UNITEXMGMTAbout Unitex:For more than 100 years our family-run business has been leading the way in the medical uniform and linen rental industry.
