Job Title: Assistant Professor, 9 Month Salaried - Microeconomics Location: Tallahassee, FL Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 61336 Department Department of Economics - College of Social Sciences and Public Policy Responsibilities The successful candidate must show evidence of the potential to produce internationally recognized policy-relevant research (at the Assistant level) or have a strong track record of publication success (at the advanced Assistant level). Duties include teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, as well as service responsibilities.Contribute to research and scholarship through high quality publications in top-tier venues.Teaching Microeconomics at the graduate and undergraduate levels.Standard service responsibilities commensurate with rank.Applying Game, Contract, and Microeconomics Theories to generate models.Qualifications Ph.D in Economics.Completion of all doctoral requirements prior to employment.Strong track record of publication success at the advanced Assistant level.Other Information The Department of Economics is the largest department in the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy. We have 32 full time faculty and an active research program. At the undergraduate level, we offer and economics major, economics minor, as well as several specialized studies programs. At the graduate level, we offer both an MS program and a PhD program. Our MS program has a strong applied focus and is designed to completed in twelve months. Our PhD program has graduated over 250 doctoral students since 1967.
