A CPA license (Active or Inactive) or CMA (Active or Inactive) required by employment start date (8/17/2026).Highly Desired/PreferredPh.D. in Business related field.Proven ability to effectively teach Accounting or related subject to diverse undergraduate audiences both in-person and online.Experience and/or interest in mentoring undergraduate student applied research/projects.Demonstrated potential for applied scholarship.Note: A terminal degree (Ph.D. DBA etc.) required for promotion to full professor unless by special exception process.RESPONSIBILITIESTeach undergraduate courses in Accounting including Introduction to Financial Accounting Corporate and Managerial Accounting and application software for spreadsheets and databases. Additional courses could include Accounting for Management Decisions Cost Accounting and Tax Accounting. A normal teaching load is 12 credits per semester. While the focus is on teaching there are clear expectations of scholarly research and service activities. This position may require alternative delivery methods and/or non-traditional teaching times.
