Job Description
Staffmark is hiring a Civil Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations for our partner company in Concord, NC. This role combines technical oversight with business development and team leadership, making it ideal for a licensed PE with strong managerial experience in civil engineering. Pay: $120,000 - $140,000/year Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities: Lead and manage engineering projects, staff, and daily operations Oversee business development, client relations, and strategic planning Identify new market opportunities and grow client partnerships Set and achieve annual business goals, department budgets, and schedules Ensure compliance with quality control and performance standards Support proposal development, cost estimates, and technical submissions Guide and mentor engineering staff; conduct performance evaluations Manage multiple clients, schedules, and deliverables Represent the company in interviews, presentations, and recruiting events Attend and lead internal department and project management meetings Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering (land development preferred) Minimum 5 years of staff management experience Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills Benefits:Our partner company offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
