Summer teaching contracts may be available depending on department needs. The person filling this position will serve as a core faculty member of the SHSU Clinical Psychology Masters program.Educational Requirements for the Position:Candidates should have a Doctoral degree in Psychology and must be a licensed mental health practitioner (e.g., LP, LPA, LPC, LCSW, LSSP) or eligible for such licensure in the state of Texas. Applications from individuals who are ABD will be considered, but the Doctoral degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.Experience Required for the Position:The department seeks an applicant with interests and expertise in clinical psychology to contribute to its masters and undergraduate programs. Duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses as needed; developing a productive research program and mentoring undergraduate and Masters students; and serving on the Masters Psychology Programs Committee.
