The department is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.Job Responsibilities:Effectively teach undergraduate and graduate courses in educator preparation programs. As a tenure-track position, the faculty member is expected to teach 12 workload credits per semester.Maintain an active research agendaAdvise undergraduate and graduate studentsPromote the maintenance of state accreditation standardsProvide service to the department, college, university, profession, and communityPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Education & Experience:Doctoral degree approved by the University and recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) appropriate to the area of Curriculum & Instruction; ABD will be consideredMinimum of three years’ experience as a certified teacherPossess the minimum credential standards of SACSCOC to teach courses in education (i.e., 18 graduate hours in Curriculum & Instruction, Education, or analogous area)Preferred Qualifications:Experience teaching in higher educationProficiency in instructional technology, online instruction, and/or effective course design in a variety of course modalitiesWork Hours: Faculty hours; M-F; hours may vary by assignmentSalary: $65,000.00To Apply:Please apply directly on our Texas A&M University-Central Texas Job Site.
