Under the direction of the Dean of the School of Business, the Assistant Professor of Finance will fulfill all of the responsibilities and expectations of Stockton faculty as outlined in the University Policies and Procedures for Faculty Evaluation.Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Specifically the faculty member will serve in the following ways at Stockton:Offer courses in the faculty member's program and in the General Studies curriculumServe as a preceptor to studentsParticipate in professional activities, scholarship and/or creative activities as appropriate to the disciplineProvide service to the University, community and professionPerform other duties as designated by the Dean of the School of Business or the Provost and Vice President of Academic AffairsRequired Qualifications:An earned doctorate in Finance, Financial Planning or a related discipline or a Juris Doctorate. *ABD candidates will be consideredCertified Financial Planner CertificationEvidence of potential for teaching, research and service in the field of Finance*NOTE: ABD candidates will be hired at the Instructor level until the doctoral degree is completed.
