Candidates may also be asked to collaborate with faculty and engage with students, Practical experience includes experience in industry/non-profit, research centers, or government organizations. The selected applicant should be able to develop and teach undergraduate courses in analytics, with a focus on statistics. Additional job duties include service at the department, college, university, and professional levels. Faculty will be required to teach courses at the San Marcos campus.The ISA Department offers a university-wide undergraduate minor in Data Analytics and offers several degree programs, including the Master of Science in Data Analytics and Information Systems (MSDAIS), the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Information Systems, and a newly launched BBA in Business Analytics. MSDAIS has concentrations in supply chain analytics and Applied AI. Additionally, the department contributes to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs.The McCoy College of Business provides student-centered undergraduate and master’s programs that produce graduates with the skills and experience to compete responsibly, professionally, and successfully in diverse and dynamic global environments.
