The ESK program provides a Bachelor of Science degree with three concentrations (Strength and Conditioning Sports Nutrition Exercise and Wellness).The graduate program offers three Master of Science degrees: Exercise Science Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning and Exercise Science with a concentration in Health & Wellness.ResponsibilitiesPOSITION:Assistant Professor of Instruction Exercise Science and Kinesiology (ESK)The Exercise Science and Kinesiology (ESK) program in the College of Education at the University of South Florida invites applicants for a full-time 9-month non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Instruction position beginning in August of 2026. This position is permanent and successful candidates are eligible for promotion to Associate Professor of Instruction and the terminal rank of Professor of Instruction. We seek candidates who are committed to providing engaging academic experiences that promote student success in and out of the classroom.This position will carry a 4:4 load (Summer teaching possibilities based on student demand) and will be responsible for delivering high-quality undergraduate instruction across a wide variety of Exercise Science courses. Courses may include but are not limited to the following: Survey of Exercise Science Exercise Physiology Exercise Testing and Prescription Exercise Testing and Prescription Lab Sports Nutrition Exercise Psychology Strength and Conditioning Administration of Fitness and Wellness Centers as well as courses in our concentrations.
