DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRYASSISTANT PROFESSOR ORGANIC CHEMISTRYThe University of St. Thomas (UST) a private Catholic university committed to the liberalarts and the religious ethical and intellectual tradition of Catholic higher educationinvites applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time (non-tenure-track) positionin chemistry. The start date for the position is August 2026.General responsibilities:Teaching undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses.Developing a research program involving and suited for undergraduate studentparticipation.Service activities as needed by the department and the university.Requirements:A Ph.D. in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry.Excellence in teaching scholarship and service.A commitment to the universitys mission.Applicants must provide:A cover letter addressing qualifications for the position.Curriculum vitae.Philosophy of teaching.Research proposal.Three professional letters of recommendation.A reflective response on Ex Corde Ecclesiae.A review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
