Assistant Project Manager Multi-family & Hotel ConstructionWe are a well-established general contracting firm specializing in the construction of multi-family residential communities including affordable housing developments as well as hotel facilities. We offer a stable work environment exposure to diverse project types and opportunities for professional growth within a team-oriented culture.Must HavesPrevious experience supporting project management teams on commercial or multi-family construction projectsStrong understanding of construction means and methods for multi-family residential and/or hospitality projectsAbility to read interpret and coordinate from construction drawings specifications and project schedulesProficiency with common construction management software document control systems and Microsoft Office toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination with subcontractors consultants and internal teamsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks deadlines and priorities simultaneouslyWorking knowledge of subcontractor procurement contract administration and change management processesFamiliarity with California construction practices codes and jobsite safety requirementsAbility to work on-site as needed at projects located throughout the Sacramento regionNice to HavesExperience working on affordable housing mixed-use or hospitality construction projectsExposure to public or publicly funded construction projects and related compliance requirementsFamiliarity with cost tracking budget updates and basic project accounting processesExperience assisting with project scheduling and coordination using CPM schedulesKnowledge of LEED sustainability or energy-efficiency standards in multi-family constructionBachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or a related fieldOSHA training or other relevant construction safety certificationsResponsibilitiesAssist the Project Manager with day-to-day management of multi-family residential and hotel construction projectsSupport coordination of subcontractors suppliers inspectors and consultants to maintain project progressTrack and manage submittals RFIs meeting minutes and project documentationAssist with subcontractor buyout contract execution and scope coordinationMonitor project schedules and help identify potential impacts to cost quality or timelineSupport cost control efforts including change order tracking budget updates and invoice reviewParticipate in project meetings and help ensure follow-up on action itemsAssist with quality control efforts and ensure work is performed in accordance with project documentsSupport closeout activities including punch lists O&M manuals and final documentationMaintain organized project records and support internal reporting requirements Key Skills Business Development,Customer Service,Revenue Growth,Account Management,CRM,Client Relationships,Market Research,Project Management,Contract Management,Customer Requirements,Business Units,Client Service,Ensure Compliance,Sales Goals,Product Development Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
