Assistant Project Manager FED at EC Electric

DescriptionThe position of Assistant Project Manager is responsible for providing a high level of coordination support in a variety of areas partnering with construction project management and field staff. Assistwithmanagingall aspects of project documentation including submittals RFIs and project meeting minutes. AssistwithsupervisionanddirectingprojectactivitiesasassignedbythePMincludingplanning and coordinating circumventing/resolving problem areas ensuring all company/project policies procedures and standards are maintained etc. AssistwiththemaintenanceofallchangeordersubmittalanddocumentcontrollogswithinViewpoint.AssistPMandPXwithinteractionswithsubcontractorstomakecertainthatwe have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals. ResponsibleforcreatingtheJobInformationSheetsandestablishingjobfiles under the direction of the PM or PX.AssumetemporarytotalprojectsupervisionresponsibilitiesintheabsenceofthePM.Abletoreadandbasicunderstandingofelectricaldrawingsandspecifications.Assistwithestablishingworkflowbreakdownsinconjunction with Field Supervisors and Project Managers. Assistwithensuringprojectbillingsareaccurateandsubmittedtimely monthly and per contract documents. ResponsibleforassistinginwritingandsubmissionofqualityRFIs.ResponsibleforassistingPMtoensuretimelypaymenttosubcontractorsandvendors.Abletoreviewandupdatestatusofconstructionschedulesasperrequestof PM or PX.AbletoassistProjectManagementteamwiththesetupofprojectbudgetsin Viewpoint in conjunction with Field Supervisor.WorkwithPayrolldepartmenttoensureaccuratePayroll information has been submitted.
