Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryOur teachers are a source of guidance, love, and learning to the classroom helping children to learn and grow.Teachers inspire children to be lifelong learners through our evidence-based curriculum, meeting the social, physical and cognitive development of children between 6 months to 6 years old. Our teachers create robust relationships with children, families, and team members to ensure our center is successful. They also pay attention to detail, ensuring that our experience is in accordance with all licensing regulations, policies, and procedures.We need a loving caregiver to float in our 2 infant classrooms, providing breaks for the teachers and then close the classroom at the end of the day.DutiesPartner with the infant teaching team to do the following:Implementing curriculumProvide a nurturing and warm environmentParent communicationTake care of daily care tasks of infants such as feeding and diaperingProviding a clean and sanitary learning environmentCompleting assessment and parent conferencesUtilize Lillio (Hi Mama) app to record daily logsAssist children with social/emotional growth developmentMaintain licensing standards in the classroom centerRequirementsGenuine love for children18 years and olderHigh school diploma1 year experience (preferred)Childcare employee physical and TB test (within the last year)2 letters of recommendationMust be able to pass all WI state and federal clearancesPay is based on experience and educational backgroundCPR/1st Aid certification (within 90 days of hire)proof of educationMandated reporter certification (we will provide)Safe sleep and Abusive head trauma training (we will provide)Nice To HavesEarly childhood education degreeIntro book completedInfant and toddler certifiedBenefitsTuition assistance is available for those who wish to further their education in Early Childhood EducationDiscounted childcarePaid holidaysSupplemental vision and dental insuranceEAP mental health supportOpportunities for paid trainingCompetitive wagesFlexible schedulingAbout UsNorthstar Early Learning Center is a family-owned childcare center that partners with families in preparing children for lifelong success through rich educational experiences in a safe, nurturing environment.
