They support Lead Teachers in implementing the schools play-based curriculum and fostering holistic development in young children.Responsibilities:Create a Safe EnvironmentMaintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroomFollow all health and safety policiesEnsure children are always within state ratio requirementsSupport Learning & DevelopmentAssist in implementing the Wonder of Learning curriculumEncourage exploration, creativity, and social interactionProvide age-appropriate activities that balance teacher- and child-directed playFoster Emotional GrowthPromote positive guidance and respectful behaviorSupport childrens self-esteem and social skillsModel empathy and cultural sensitivityCollaborate & CommunicateWork closely with Lead Teachers and facultyCommunicate professionally with familiesAttend meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunitiesQualificationsHigh school diploma required; CDA or college coursework in Early Childhood Education preferredExperience working with young childrenAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in active playStrong communication skills and comfort with technology (e.g., tablets)
