2025-2026 School YearPosition Type:Assistant TreasurerLocation:Strongsville Administrative OfficesScope of Responsibility:Bankreconciliation and balancing all district bank accounts;cash management monitor the Districts cash flow to properly transfer cash between the districts bank accounts when needed.Management and compliance of local state and federalgrant funds. Which includes monthly project cash requests annual reports and being the point person during a fiscal review either by the State Auditors Office and/or the Ohio Department of Education.Supervision ofthe Accounts Payable Department functionandstaffManage and oversees the compliance of all districtaccounts withinthe accounting system.Works cooperatively with the payroll staff may serve as a backup if needed.Prepares documents and works with state auditors during the yearly auditServes as the point person to manage the annual audit with the State Auditors Office and prepare documents for the annual GAAP conversion.Assists theTreasurerin the preparation and oversight of the annual appropriations and estimated resources.Assists theTreasurerin providing financial assistance to the Districts schoolsand departments.Assists theTreasureras required; including filling in for theTreasurerat Board Meetings when needed.Other duties as assigned.Compensation:Compensation:Per the salary schedule as defined with the Strongsville City SchoolsLeadership Handbook commensurate with experience.Salary and fringe benefits commensurate with the Strongsville City SchoolsLeadership HandbookTwo-Year 260 Day ContractMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferredCurrent SchoolTreasurerlicense issued by the Ohio Department of Education (or ability to obtain) preferred.AppropriateTreasurers Office experience using governmental accounting procedures and work experience.Familiar and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word; and Google Suite.Effective supervisory communication problem-solving and time management skills.Ability to work cooperatively withTreasurers Office staff and others with a strong customer service focus.Recognizes and corrects errors independently.Ability to be bondedEmbodies high ethical standards/integrityHelps manage the development delivery and advancement of fiscal operations including fund accounting payroll budget management and short/long term financial projectionsStart Date: As soon as possibleContact: George Anagnostou Key Skills Fashion Retail,Engineering,IFRS,Axapta,Computing Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Administration Experience: years Vacancy: 1
