Job Description:Bunker Hill Community College seeks a qualified Part-Time Pitching Coach to support the development of its emerging softball program. The individual in this role will provide specialized instruction to student-athletes and assist in the overall implementation of the softball program in alignment with institutional and NJCAA standards.Responsibilities:Develop and conduct pitching-focused training sessions that emphasize mechanics, consistency, and situational strategy.Provide individualized instruction and performance evaluations for pitchers.Assist the Head Coach with practice planning, game preparation, and in-game pitching decisions.Contribute to the recruitment and assessment of prospective student-athletes.Maintain accurate and timely communication regarding athlete progress, expectations, and program standards.Ensure adherence to college, conference, and NJCAA compliance requirements.Promote an inclusive, respectful environment that supports the academic and athletic development of a diverse student population.Requirements:Bachelor's degree.Competitive playing experience as a pitcher at the secondary and collegiate levels.Coaching experience at the secondary and/or collegiate levels.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Strong instructional, organizational, and communication skills.Additional Information:Salary: $4,000 total for the season.
