Department: HistoryJob Status: Full-time FLSA Status: ExemptReports To: Department ChairGrade/Level: Ph.DAmount of Travel Required: NoneWork Schedule: Positions Supervised: None POSITION SUMMARYThe Department of History at Benedictine College in Atchison Kansas seeks a tenure-track faculty member Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (commensurate with experience) in History beginning August 1 2026. The focus of the position is Modern European History 1500-present. The successful candidate will teach a variety of upper-level courses in Early Modern and Late Modern European History as well as the World Civilization since 1500 survey. The area of research interest is open. Applications must be submitted by January 16 2026. Additional responsibilities include engagement in and service to the department college and community. Such engagement or service to the college would typically include full participation in faculty events and engagement in faculty responsibilities.
