Headquartered in Atlanta Georgia Novelis has approximately 13000 employees in 32 operating facilities on 4 continents.Responsibilities & QualificationsThe following list includesprimaryresponsbilities and is not meant to be all-inclusive:Actively particpate in elements of Greensboro Novelis Safety SystemEnsure compliance to environmental requirementsUnload trucksEnsure quality of incoming materialMaintain feed rate to meltersMaintain records using computerized systems including SAP/MESAccount for receipt/shipment of material by truckBasica maintenance of cold metal equipmentKeep all work areas clean and brightThis is a list of physical requirements related to a persons ability to handle certain physical mental emotional demands of the position:Climb on/off fork truck several times a dayClimb stairs occasionallyLift up to 50 lbsWork rotatin shift schedule including nights and weekendsBe able to work a temperatures <50 degrees in the winter to >100 degrees in the summerLocation ProfileNovelis Greensboro facility is located in Greensboro Georgia. With 140 employees it is the first stand-alone used beverage can recycling facility in the company now responsible for pioneering a majority of Novelis recycling technologies.
