Associate Attorney at Evans Fears Schuttert McNulty Mickus

Evans Fears Schuttert McNulty Mickus, a litigation firm that specializes in high stakes trials (), are seeking full time Associate Attorneys in our Irvine, CA office to assist with all phases of litigation.

Our ideal candidate is an attorney with 5-7 years of litigation experience with: (i) strong research, writing, and analytical abilities; (ii) solid organization skills and the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks; (iii) the ability to learn quickly, communicate well, show initiative, and thrive in a demanding environment; and (iv) a demonstrated interest in and commitment to working in a litigation setting. Prior coursework, training or work experience in consumer litigation, products liability or employment law fields is a plus. Trial experience also a desired attribute.

Principal duties and responsibilities will include legal research and factual investigation; drafting legal memoranda and all varieties of pleadings and motions; coordinating with expert witnesses and consultants; drafting strategic offensive discovery and responses to defensive discovery; taking and assisting with the preparation for depositions; managing all phases of document review and production; and preparing for and trying cases.
