We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our growing team. This exciting role requires a candidate with a strong background in personal injury law and a proven track record of success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing personal injury cases from initial client meeting to resolution. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases and make substantial contributions to our clients' lives. The role demands a strong commitment to client service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
2. Conduct initial client meetings and maintain regular communication to provide case updates and gather necessary information.
3. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and decisions.
5. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
6. Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure a high level of client service and satisfaction.
8. Stay current on developments in personal injury law and participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law, including significant trial experience.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to achieve favorable settlements for clients.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
8. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about case management and resolution.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
