Job Summary

Seeking attorney with 0 - 4 years of experience to join a dynamic and growing condominium and real estate law firm with 12+ attorneys in Quincy, MA.


The attorney will join the firm's main office in Quincy, MA, and will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys with backgrounds in condominium and real estate law, who will provide guidance and mentorship. The attorney will also have direct contact with clients.


The attorney will be involved in handling various condominium and real estate matters for the firm. The work of the attorney will be primarily transactional in nature, but will also involve attending meetings with clients both in person and via video and telephone conference. There is also an opportunity, if the attorney wishes to do so, to attend court hearings on various matters.


Overall, the firm's various areas of practice include condominium association and homeowners' association representation, litigation of condominium and other real estate matters, zoning issues, title issues, commercial leasing issues, and other real estate related items.


This position is ideal for a motivated legal professional who is eager to develop expertise while contributing to impactful legal solutions and who is interested in meaningful opportunities to work directly with clients.

Must be admitted to MA bar; admission to NH bar is a plus but not required.


Duties

  • Assist in the representation of condominium associations and homeowners' associations in various legal matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents including condominium and homeowners' association documents, contracts, demand letters, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Support attorneys in negotiations related to condominium association legal issues, real estate transactions, and settlement agreements.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations across the firm's practice areas, such as condominium laws.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies and client advisories.
  • Participate in client meetings to gather information, provide advice and guidance, and provide updates on matter while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Perform searches in the Registry of Deeds to address title issues and locate relevant documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on legal issues and develop legal strategies for firm clients.


Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in condominium law or real estate matters is a plus but not required.
  • MA Bar required, NH Bar is a plus.
  • Experience with MA Registry of Deeds search techniques is a plus, but not required.
