Mercor is seeking lawyers with civil litigation or corporate/transactional experience to support new USA dataset projects. These roles involve labelling legal documents and helping train a leading Legal AI companys LLM. Key Responsibilities: Label and organize shared legal and financial documents based on project guidelines. Ensure accuracy completeness and clarity of all compiled materials. Follow structured documentation processes to meet defined quality standards. Verify sources and ensure all data is obtained from public verifiable platforms. Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and meet all deadlines. Youre a strong fit if you have: Last year of law school >3 years of active practicing experience in your domain in USA Familiarity with USA legal and regulatory document sources. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured documentation requirements. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on short timelines. Role Details: Part-time project-based work with an expected duration of 3 months. Expected engagement: minimum of 10 hours and maximum of 20 hours per week depending on availability and project needs. 100% remote and asynchronouswork from anywhere on your own schedule. Compensation & Legal: Contractor role via Mercor. Competitive hourly rate of $90-$110 USD based on experience and domain relevance. Payments processed weekly through Stripe Connect.
