A growing South Florida law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its litigation and transactional practice. This position offers hands-on experience handling a variety of real estate, business, and commercial matters while working closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical and writing skills, courtroom experience, and a desire to develop a long-term career representing businesses, property owners, investors, landlords, and individuals throughout Florida.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court proceedings.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain regular client communication.
• Assist with case strategy development and litigation planning.
• Review and draft contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and related business documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation and transactional matters.
• Maintain organized case files and meet litigation deadlines.

Qualifications

• Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, business law, or related practice areas.
• Experience drafting substantive motions and managing discovery.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
