DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in civil litigation defense within a collaborative and supportive environment. If you are a licensed attorney passionate about building your career and gaining hands-on experience, this position is ideal for you.Responsibilities:• Manage a diverse caseload, taking primary responsibility for cases based on your level of experience.• Represent clients during court appearances, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings.• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and other necessary documentation.• Handle discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for production.• Collaborate with clients to provide regular updates and address legal concerns.• Prepare for trials, including pre-trial motions and strategy development.• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations to advocate for client interests.• Work closely with partners and other team members to ensure high-quality case management.• Maintain effective use of case management and document management software.• Stay current with legal trends and developments to enhance expertise.Requirements• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.• Active bar admission in the state of California.• At least 2 years of experience in civil litigation or a related legal field.• Proficiency in legal research, drafting motions, and preparing briefs.• Skilled in using case management and document management software.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration.• Ability to handle multiple cases effectively and meet deadlines.• Experience with trial preparation and courtroom procedures preferred.Job typePerm
